From November 30 to December 1, 2018 the XXV Technical Symposium of the leather industry was held in Baños de Agua Santa, Ecuador. Organized by the National Association of Tanners of Ecuador (ANCE), the event aims to promote technical innovations in the tanning sector by addressing to national tanning industries.The active participation of Codyeco has foreseen the presentation of the Life Biopol project and the promising innovations introduced by the biopolymers. The Symposyum was an oppotunity to set up a Road Show which allowed to meet up the main stakeholders of the leather industry. Leathers produced using the BIOPOL technology have been showed as well as the environmental benfits resulting from the biopolymers application.
