The fourth monitoring visit of the Life Biopol project was held on the 19th September 2019 by the project advisor of EASME. The meeting was held in Santa Croce sull’Arno (PI) and all project beneficiaries attended it. Aim of the visit was the discussion about the replicability of the results of the project beyond the project ending as well as the inspection of the environmental results achieved with the new products. Leather articles produced by Codyeco, Inpelsa and Dercosa using the biopolymers have been shown during the visit. The meeting reported good results and it allowed partners to define actions to act in order to make the new technology available on the lather market after the project conclusion.
